hey carlo,
sounds to me like a mass firing is in order. now's the best time ever to be building a world-class team of pros to surround you and grow your biz.
and yes, i'm serious as a heart attack. when they're all gone you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. Use the Jack Welch (GE) method: lop off the bottom 20% of the performers in your business TOMORROW. It sends a powerful msg and the other 80% will step up, and need to, especially with the increase in responsibilities they'll need to absorb. good luck! be sure to download my latest book at dentalmarketingtips.com

Greg, can you email me your current financial policy? Have you loosened your ability to extend credit? Or tightened? Which finance cos. are you using now? Read a great suggestion the other day: contact 3 or 4 local small banks...here's the email I sent to them just last week. I have a personal relationship with this banker, hence the very informal nature:

hi michael,

is [bank name] doing any personal lines of credit right now?
reason why i ask is, what if the dental office and [bank name] worked cooperatively to offer salem-area residents low interest loans for dental care?
we're currently using the usual smattering, but CareCredit (GE Capital) is approving less and less with the troubles they are experiencing.
Any thoughts on custom-tailoring something like that for the patients?
Just thinking outside the box...
Thanks, jerry

Here's where it got me - the very next day, Michael showed up with brochures in-hand and reviewed the current credit criteria this bank is using - or at least an idea of - so my FOP would know which institution would be best for our pts.

Again though, shoot me your FP and I'll take a look at it...maybe suggest some loosening of credit in your office, too?!

Thanks for posting!

Matt, tell me more. What are you doing currently to attract patients? Can you shoot me some stats, like how many new pts a month now, vs. a year ago, # of staff in your practice, etc.

Hygiene will and should fill once NPs start rolling.

What about undone tx and inactive pts? What are you looking at there for numbers?

If you can get me this info, I can elaborate on solutions!

Sweet site, BTW. Good use of video and headlines. I'm a big fan of chiropractic.

My Doc, Dr. Peter Lind, is at www.lindwellness.com. Not that you care, but you should look at what he's doing for delivery of care. It's amazing. Shoot him an email. Adios and thanks for reading!

Hi Jerry,
I'm a chiropractor and I just finished reading Dan K's book, No BS Wealth Attraction which is where i saw your information and looked you up. You make a lot of great points in your newsletter (i just read the most recent) that I feel transfers certainly to Chiropractic, if not to many other fields. I'm going to put together a book like Dr. Lind - that's a great idea! - and continue to check in on your blog and newsletters.
Cheers,
Vince Leone, D.C.
